So here are my submissions for artists Pledge, provided you can find me now with all the new other Dia’s since we started these blogs. Funny how my artists name has taken on so many new associations since 2006. I guess when you add famous New York comedians a wealthy Arab and a great meeting place with a great crowd things happen.
My conception of Dia for my works actually started when as a jewelry sales clerk in my aunt and uncle’s store there wasn’t enough room to sign my full name on sales receipts. So Dia was better than Di, and in the jewelry industry we use Dia as an abbreviation for Diamonds. So perfect suits both my professions. The first time I heard reference to Dia in the art world was when I read Detroit Art Institute had closed. I see it’s up and running now. Then during college I found online an artists movement called the diaspora.
My early blogs which I loved I accidentally canceled when I closed one of my google accounts. I really miss them especially the British tube with “show us your willie”. There’s a skateboard video I would like to find again. I can still find peanut buttered jelly kitty! Lol. People aren’t posting fun things anymore, they are way too serious. So, I think we are going to start again.
The tall thin bald man who always smiled was finally revealed as a deceased Jersey police officer impersonating a federal officer who was killed by the same. So, I think we can get passed the rumors and lies he spread now. Still looking for ways to get passed the damage done my life because of him and his partners, they won’t be free for long either. He had a network, people are working on it.
Less serious note I finally graduated with a Bachelors Degree Fine Arts Painting and have some income. I still spend time at MIAD of course after corona lockdown we can again. Intend on
rebooting my business and working on great art. Maybe we can put some entertaining internet stuff together again. Although we may have to actually create it ourselves. Again, Anne when things go south reach for Alvin.
